Organizations that Support Positive Growth for the Entire San Luis Valley, Colorado

Adams State College, recipient of HUD's HSIAC grant, has partnered with five economic support organizations that serve the entire San Luis Valley. The network has increased the organizations' capacities to serve local businesses through programs that share resources, eliminate service overlaps, improve customer services, strengthen communication inside the network. The participating organizations are:

Adams State's Community Partnership Center, dedicated to community outreach, partnership and responsible development of the San Luis Valley. The business development program offers free, confidential business counseling services.

Community Connections, a Valley-wide non-profit organization whose mission is to increase community capacity, facilitate and coordinate events and organizations.

San Luis Valley Development Resource Group, Non-profit economic and community development organization that has been in existence for 15 years. Administers the revolving loan fund that provides gap financing for businesses based on job creation and retention.

San Luis Valley GIS/GPS Authority, a regional agency tasked with design, development, implementation and maintenance of the GIS/GPS services for positive development of the San Luis Valley

San Luis Valley Resource Conservation & Development, an independent non-profit organization that provides technical and educational asssitance to local people in censerving and developing the local resources.

Valley Community Fund, a non-profit agency in southern Colorado's San Luis Valley that is comprised of 29 member agencies and supports these agencies through fundraising, training, and the promotion of volunteerism and philanthrophy.
